Formula Foundry helps our engineer design team save time. We can evaluate and modify the design from the beginning without trials. When we encounter bottlenecks in the parameters, Formula Foundry provides advice to overcome the trouble.

Now, we have more parameters to follow and can see the affecting factors. Moreover, we had been using Zamak 03 for a long time before moving to Zamak 05.

Before, we used the F11 function to locate the Phase 2 position, and sometimes it gave bad results. After studying a new method from Formula Foundry to determine the range of the Phase 2 position, we found this to be more critical.

Before, we know the smaller area – the better speed achievement. After, Formula Foundry shows an overall view of the relationship between area and speed.

Before, we had zero knowledge about Degassing chemical. After, we found a Flux chemical that helps to separate the oxidized zamak from the pure zamak with a period.

Before, we didn’t know how to control Thermal Equilibrium. After, we are clear about Furnace control and what we should do.

Before, the period for changing the Plunger Ring was based on the curve when the piston are wear and went over 100mm. After, we set 15,000 shots as the interval for changing the Plunger Ring.
